Why was sulforaphane tested in acid and in water?

A capsule opens in your stomach or in your intestines. Stomach acid is pH 1.5. Your intestines are pH 7.3, the same as water. So the lab tested immediate-release products in both and averaged the two. Delayed-release products, like BROQ, open past the stomach, so they're shown in water.

Why are NMN and spermidine measured differently?

Sulforaphane forms after the capsule opens, so the lab recreates that step in acid and water. NMN and spermidine are already in their final form in the capsule, so the lab measures how much of each is in one serving. We put that next to what the label says.
